Flamingo - Kung saga

Flamingo was part of a project called King Saga, where we collaborated with a student at Kung Saga High School.

In this project, we spoke with the person we were designing for and explored how we could create a water bottle that would better suit their everyday needs.

The person I worked with is named Frej. My idea was to design a water bottle that is easy to hold and can be attached to Frej’s wheelchair, making it more practical to use in daily life.

His teacher mentioned that Frej often misplaced his belongings at school because he kept them in his wheelchair, and they would sometimes disappear. Frej also explained that his previous water bottle was bulky and uncomfortable to use, and that water frequently spilled onto his computer while he played Minecraft.

These insights helped guide my design choices and made it clear that the bottle needed to be both secure and easy to handle.
