Vacancy - Sculpture for solitary bees
Project from 2023–2024
Vacancy focuses on integrating nesting sites for species, specifically solitary bees, into artistic public sculptures and artifacts. Through the creation of these sculptures and artifacts, the project aims to engage and inspire viewers to reflect on the ongoing crisis faced by our pollinators. Additionally, the project aims to promote biodiversity.

Goal 11 focuses on making cities safe, inclusive, and sustainable.
Goal 13: Climate Action
Goal 13 addresses one of the greatest challenges of our time: climate change.
Goal 15: Life on Land
Goal 15 is about protecting forests, combating desertification, and halting the loss of biodiversity.
This is a prototype at a 1:2 scale.

Materials and Methods:
This piece is a prototype. While the final version is envisioned in wood, the prototype was created in PLA and finished with paint.
Tools used: Blender 3D, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), CrealityPrint, Bambu Studio.
