Bio helmet

A bicycle helmet for kids, that doesn’t last forever.  Kids grows out of their helmets within a year or two. Thats when our design dies. According to research helmet use among kids 6 to 13 is lower in areas with low socio-economic status.
The Bio Helmet is a social venture carried out in the suburbs of Stockholm. Functions as a subsidized rental service for kids 5 to 13 who can’t afford to by their own helmet. The helmet will be made from bio-based materials such as wool and mycelium.

The project is created by a mde upp company by the name of Biocycle and in this senario the company would colaberate whit Stockholm stad.

And would follow UN Sustainable Development Goals:

Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities
Goal 10 is about reducing inequalities within and among countries.

Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Goal 12 is about ensuring systems that promote more sustainable consumption and production.

Goal 13: Climate Action
Goal 13 is about combating one of the greatest challenges of our time — climate change.

Goal 15: Life on Land
Goal 15 is about preserving forests, combating desertification, and halting the loss of biodiversity.
